Springer Nature Applied Sciences Topical Issue

v2

A Topical Issue of the journal Springer Nature Applied Sciences dedicated to Material and Engineering Advances Towards Electrolyzers and Fuel Cells with Earth-abundant Elements will open in November 2018 and we welcome submission of high quality manuscripts on an running basis until end 2019, to coincide with the conference.

Low-temperature water electrolyzers and fuel cells will play an important role for daily or seasonal storage of renewable energy and in the transportation sector. In the long term, an issue in the use of these technologies is the current need for precious or rare metals for reaching high efficiency and/or durability. This topical collection invites studies on science and engineering aspects enabling significant reduction, or complete elimination in such devices of precious metals and metals with risk-of-supply.

To submit your article, please go to the SN Applied Sciences website and select the "Materials Science" category: https://www.springer.com/engineering/journal/42452?detailsPage=societies
